Sardegna Adventures - Trekking
The Sardegna Adventures trekking works, above all, in the interior areas of Barbagia, Ogliastra, Baronia and Gallura. Among the many possible itineraries fit for trekking, we have selected only the most interesting and fascinating that are to be found in the karstic district between the townships of Orgosolo, Oliena, Dorgali and Urzulei, namely the Supramonte.
According to a recent study, this steep and wild Sardinian territory together with the Grand Canyon in Colorado are supposed to be the only two regions of the world with the most uneven and rough orography known to man.
It is just through these magnificent places that we would like to take you on an excursion with our experienced guides, expert trekkers of the territory always up to the task.
Programme: tour visits in the naturalistic and archaeological sites of the Supramonte, special guided routes in order to spot moufflons and birds of prey, the crossing of most ancient woods with rocky slopes and limestone canyons in between. Lunch and dinner with the local shepherds.
Availability: Spring and Autumn times.
Duration: from 1 to 3 days.
Groups: min.4 max. 20 people.
Rescue assistance: direct contact with the Italian alpine troops.
Accommodation: hotels and farmhouses with arrangements, tent.
Advice: a pair of shoes suitable for trekking, small rucksack.
