1st stage Capo Codacavallo-Capo Codacavallo.

First briefing. The day's aim is to make you test the particular Sardinina soil; we'll stop more than usual to know us better and share comments about the different technical steps found along the way.

2nd stage Capo Codacavallo - Osidda about 160 Km.

During this first stage will pass near the legendary Costa Smeralda and then we'll reach the Limbara Mount. After having run along the Coghinas Lake, we'll arrive to Oschiri , where we'll spend the night in a B&B built in a historic house in the country. This area is called 'Gallura', and offers landscapes and paths with granite rocks and fantastic views of the sea and natural monuments sculpted by the wind; in the menu we will taste the Gallura soup, the Oschiri's 'panadas' and Vermentino DOCG wine;

3rd stage Oschiri - Osidda about 100 Km.

The route will cross several 'fords' and vast forests of cork trees. Granite rocks are still present in this area. This stage, slightly shorter, will lead us to Osidda, a small village of medieval times set in ancient forests, with only 250 inhabitants, located in the heart of the island. The menu will always offer the IGP lamb, fresh mushrooms and Cannonau wine.

4th stage Osidda - Cala Gonone about 110 Km. On New Year's Eve we will leave the granite rocks back and we will have a path on the schistose ground with beautiful landscapes and views. We'll stop in archaeological sites such as the sacred well 'Su Tempiesu' of the eleventh century BC and visit the cave called 'Virgins' Abyss'. Then we'll reach Cala Gonone, a small tourist center in the middle of the Gulf of Orosei. Here the menu is based on fish dishes, and is very rich since is New Year's Eve.

5th stage Cala Gonone - Villanova Strisaili about 130 km. We'll cross the Mount Gennargentu, Italy's oldest mountain range, it is possible to find snow on the path. Villanova is a village famous  in the world for being the place with the highest male longevity, and is also one of the coldest place in Sardinia. Here we will taste the typical "culurgionis" from Ogliastra region, mushrooms and goat meat spit-cooked.

6th stage Villanova - Orgosolo 100 Km + 30 Km at night with road book. We are in the Barbagia region. The route will be developed mainly in Supramonte with the crossing of the ancient forest "Sas Baddes", the oldest forest in Europe. Arrival is Orgosolo, a village famous for its wall paintings and brigandage. The menu includes the Sardinian 'porcetto' in its original version, handmade ravioli and excellent 'black' wine. After dinner there is a small circular route with road book.

7th and 8th surprise stage. The only anticipation is that there may be a scavenger hunt and a sailing short trip if the weather conditions are good enough.
